Viola Sorbet 'Black Delight' is a compact, low-growing variety prized for its rich, velvety blooms that appear nearly black, often with a deep purple hue that becomes more apparent in sunlight. Each flower measures around 1 to 1.5 inches (2.5–4 cm) across and features a classic pansy-like shape with five overlapping petals. The plant forms neat, rounded mounds of heart-shaped green foliage that serve as an attractive backdrop to the dark blossoms. It flowers prolifically from early spring through late fall, and even into mild winters, offering a striking contrast in mixed containers, borders, and seasonal displays.
