Freddie is a striking tropical plant known for its elongated, lance-shaped leaves with wavy edges. The foliage features a vibrant green background with dark green, feather-like stripes running parallel along the veins, giving it a distinctive, elegant appearance. The undersides of the leaves are a soft purple, adding to its ornamental appeal. Like other Calatheas, ‘Freddie’ exhibits nyctinasty, meaning its leaves move up and down in response to light changes, folding up at night and reopening in the morning.
