Buckthorn Seaberry 'Hikul' is a unique, compact ornamental form of seaberry valued for its dense, mounded habit and attractive silvery-gray foliage. Unlike larger fruiting seaberries, 'Hikul' is primarily grown as a landscape shrub, providing year-round texture and contrast in the garden. Its fine, narrow leaves shimmer in the sunlight, creating a soft appearance that pairs well with both flowering perennials and evergreen plantings. Exceptionally hardy and drought tolerant once established, it is well suited to the challenging growing conditions of Regina and the Canadian Prairies.
