The Red Flame Cactus is a bold and vibrant epiphytic forest cactus native to the coastal mountains of Brazil. Like all Zygocactus, it features flat, segmented stems with pointed, claw-like serrations along the margins. At the tips of its arching stems, vivid tubular flowers blaze in deep scarlet-red with flame-orange undertones, creating a fiery, eye-catching display perfectly timed for the Thanksgiving season. The asymmetrical blooms are held horizontally, giving the plant a lush, cascading appearance ideal for hanging baskets or a prominent windowsill.
