The Yellow Flame cactus plant blooms in late fall to early winter, producing tubular, multi-petalled flowers in a warm golden-yellow with peachy-orange undertones — hence "Yellow Flame." Blooms dangle elegantly from stem tips, often with reflexed petals that give them a swept-back, almost shooting-star appearance.

Unlike desert cacti, this forest cactus thrives with a little more moisture and humidity, making it perfectly suited to Canadian homes. With the right care, it will reward you with a spectacular floral display year after year.
