Delphinium ‘Magic Fountains Dark Blue/Dark Bee’ is a compact, floriferous perennial known for its strong vertical presence and richly coloured blooms. It produces dense spikes of deep blue to violet flowers, each highlighted by a dark central “bee,” creating a dramatic contrast. The finely cut, dark green foliage forms a tidy basal mound, while the shorter, sturdier stems of the Magic Fountains series make it more resistant to wind and less prone to flopping than taller delphiniums—an excellent choice for prairie gardens and smaller spaces. It blooms in early to mid-summer and may rebloom if deadheaded.
