Echinacea ‘Magnus’ is a classic prairie perennial known for its large, upright daisy-like flowers and strong garden performance. The blooms feature rich rose-purple petals that extend horizontally around a prominent copper-orange central cone, giving the plant a bold and striking appearance. Compared to older coneflower varieties, ‘Magnus’ has broader petals that remain more horizontal rather than drooping. Its coarse, dark green foliage forms a sturdy clump, while tall stems carry the flowers above the leaves through summer. Highly attractive to bees, butterflies, and other pollinators, it is a dependable choice for perennial borders, prairie plantings, and pollinator gardens.
