Hot Wings Maple (Acer tataricum ‘GarAnn’) is a compact, ornamental maple valued for its refined habit and striking seasonal interest. In spring it bears clusters of small, creamy-white flowers, followed by an abundant display of winged samaras that mature from green to bright pink and then vivid red, creating the signature “hot wings” effect through summer. The foliage is medium green, finely textured, and turns warm shades of yellow to orange-red in fall. Its tidy, rounded crown and multi-season appeal make it an excellent accent or small shade tree for residential landscapes.
