Lily Leichtlinii (Yellow Form) is a graceful, species lily admired for its delicate, nodding flowers and natural woodland character. The plant produces tall, slender stems clothed with narrow, lance-shaped green leaves arranged in loose whorls along the stem. In mid to late summer, it bears multiple pendant flowers with strongly recurved petals, giving the classic turk’s-cap appearance. The blossoms are soft golden to clear yellow and are heavily spotted with dark maroon to chocolate markings toward the center. The elegant flowers sway gently on tall stems, creating a light, airy effect in perennial borders, naturalized plantings, or cottage gardens.
