Ginger Wine™ ninebark is a dense, upright deciduous shrub valued for its rich, multi-season color and rugged adaptability. New foliage emerges a vibrant coppery-red in spring, maturing to deep burgundy through summer and finishing with glowing red tones in fall. In late spring, rounded clusters of soft pinkish-white flowers contrast beautifully against the dark foliage and are followed by small red seed capsules. The plant’s exfoliating, papery bark adds winter interest and gives ninebark its common name.
