The Tower Poplar is a fast-growing, columnar deciduous tree valued for its very narrow upright form, making it ideal for tight spaces, privacy screens, and windbreaks in prairie landscapes like Regina. It has smooth grey-green bark and dense, bright green leaves that form a tall, vertical accent without spreading wide. In summer it provides excellent shade and screening, while in fall the foliage turns a clear golden yellow before dropping. Its strong, architectural form makes it especially useful where space is limited but height is desired.
