The Palmyra Tulip is a striking, late-spring blooming variety prized for its rich, velvety tones and elegant form. Its petals are deep maroon to burgundy, often appearing almost black in certain lighting, with subtle hints of purple or chocolate undertones. The flower shape is classic and cup-like, opening slightly with age while maintaining a refined silhouette. As the bloom matures, the color intensifies, giving beds and borders a dramatic, moody flair.
