Rumba Weigela is a multi-stemmed shrub with upright spreading habit. It features showy clusters of ruby-red trumpet-shaped flowers with yellow throats. It has attractive purple-tipped dark green foliage throughout the season. The pointy leaves are highly ornamental but do not develop any appreciable fall colour. This shrub will require occasional maintenance and upkeep, and should only be pruned after flowering to avoid removing any of the current season's flowers. Grows at a medium rate.
